Picture of Chris MarshallChris Marshall has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry. At the beginning of his career, he specialized in both portfolio construction and real estate products, fostering a diverse understanding of investment markets. He is compassionate, motivated, and hardworking, making him a natural fit as an Investment Manager within an independent financial planning firm.

Chris began his financial career at Colorado State University, where he majored in Business Administration. Since then, he has built a background in investment model design, securities, and worked as an Assistant Vice President at Black Creek Capital Markets, where he specialized in real estate investment. His passion for helping create strong plans for personal investments motivated him to move independent with Marshall Wealth Management where he is able to more directly serve clients as an Investment Manager. Chris has his Series 7, 6, 63 and 66 securities registrations held with LPL Financial, his Wisconsin Life Insurance License. as well as the designation of Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), a symbol of his dedication to upholding the fiduciary standard for clients.

When he is not working, Chris spends time at home in Appleton, Wisconsin, with his wife, Kayla, who is an elementary school teacher.  Together, they have two young daughters, Winnie and Marlee. Chris grew up in Colorado and is a rabid Denver Broncos fan that can trace his legacy season tickets back several generations!  Chris is a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America, an organization in which he proudly participated when he was younger, earning the title of Eagle Scout, one of the organization’s highest honors. Chris also enjoys traveling, attending live concerts and watching just about any type of sporting event!

What do you feel most grateful for in life?

I am most grateful for my family. There is nothing better than spending time with my incredible wife, our two adorable little girls, and our chow/lab mix. I feel fortunate to be in a career that not only allows me to provide for my family, but also spend quality time with them. We enjoy traveling, attending sporting events, the outdoors, and watching our girls learn and grow.

Why do you do what you do?

Working with people gives purpose to using what I’ve learned in my 14 years in finance in being able to assist clients in pursuing their financial goals.

If you didn’t work in finance, what would you be?

I would be a sports analyst. Being the 54th ever season ticket holder for the Denver Broncos, my grandfather instilled a love for football in me at a very young age and has since passed the tickets down to me. I am not only a fan of all sports, but also love the community built around sporting teams and events as well as being part of a team.
